Each year, the bank hosts a bowl-a-thon to support the United Way throughout Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties. This year marked the 13th consecutive year of the bowl-a-thon. The event was held in Manteca to raise money in support of United Way.

Special thanks to our employees, their family and friends for participating and donating to support United Way!

United Way focuses on opportunities that improve the quality of life throughout our communities by partnering with and supporting programs that enhance and improve education, financial stability as well as healthy individuals and families.

For the eighth consecutive year, the bank participated in the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. This year we were the official sponsor of the Registration Station. A team of OVCB volunteers (wo)manned the registration station helping unregistered walkers get signed up for the walk.

The 5K walk started and ended at Gallo Center for the Arts in Modesto. In all, over 3,500 walkers came out to support the cause this year, raising approximately $150,000.

Oak Valley had a great turnout with employees, family, and friends showing up to represent the bank and support the cause. This year we had over 75 registered walkers and exceeded our fundraising goal. Hats off to everyone who participated and donated. We appreciate your support and could not have done this without you!
